What this policy covers
This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies that LingoLab Korean (https://lingolabkorean.net) uses. Besides cookies, this includes your browser's local storage and session storage, and third-party scripts. For regular visitors, our site stores data in browser storage. Our server responses do not set cookies for regular visitors. After you pick a display language, your browser stores that choice as the llk-ui-lang cookie listed under Strictly necessary.
We currently use no analytics tools, no social media tracking pixels and no externally loaded web fonts. Ads from Google AdSense are described under Advertising below.
Categories
- Strictly necessary — needed for the site to work, for example to keep you signed in, count free daily uses and take payments. These are always on and cannot be switched off.
- Functional — remember optional display and language choices. Used only if you allow them.
- Analytics — would measure how the site is used. We use none at the moment.
- Advertising — ads from Google AdSense and Google's advertising cookies. Used only if you allow them.

When you choose "Continue with Google", "Facebook" or "X" on the login page, you are sent to that provider's own website, which uses its own cookies under its own privacy policy.

Without functional consent these choices still work, but only until you leave or reload the page.
Analytics
We do not use any analytics cookies, storage or scripts.
Advertising
Advertising (only with your consent): we may show ads from Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve and measure ads, including ads based on your visits to this site and others. We do not sell your account data. You can refuse advertising cookies in Cookie settings, or opt out of personalized ads at https://adssettings.google.com.
No ad script is loaded on the site yet. When ads are switched on, Google AdSense ads and advertising cookies will load only for free and logged-out visitors who allow the "Advertising" category in the cookie banner or under "Cookie settings". Paid subscribers never see ads. If you refuse advertising, no advertising cookies, storage or scripts are used. Analytics tools likewise will not load unless you allow the analytics category.
How to change your choice
When you first visit, a banner lets you choose "Accept all", "Reject non-essential" or "Customize" (one switch per category). You can change your choice at any time with "Cookie settings" in the site footer or with this button:
If you withdraw functional consent, we delete the functional entries listed above from your browser straight away. You can also delete all site data in your browser settings; the banner will then appear again.
