[LingoLab Korean Vocabulary Builder - User Guide]

Welcome to your personal, offline-ready vocabulary builder! This tool is designed to be lightweight, fast, and completely private. No installation is required.

1. Getting Started

• Simply double-click the index.html file to open it in any web browser (Chrome, Edge, Safari, etc.).

• It works flawlessly on your local PC, Mac, or tablet without needing a server.

2. Adding New Words

• Select Languages: Go to the bottom panel and choose your 'From' language (e.g., Spanish) and 'To' language (e.g., English) from the 22 available options.

• Search for Meaning: Type your word into the input box and click [Search]. The tool will automatically fetch the translation using Google's engine.

• Save: Click [Save]. The tool will add the word to your list and smartly remember your selected language to ensure perfect pronunciation later.

3. Managing Your Vocabulary

• Speak: Click [Speak] next to any word to hear its native pronunciation. (English words use real dictionary audio, while sentences and other languages use Google's native AI voice).

• Edit & Organize: Use the [Edit] button to modify entries, or use the [Top / ▲ / ▼ / Bottom] buttons to prioritize your list. Use [Delete] to remove words you have fully memorized.

4. File Management (Crucial for Data Safety) Since this tool prioritizes your privacy by running strictly in your local browser, your words are not automatically saved to a cloud server.

• Save to File: Click [Save to File] on the top menu to download your current vocabulary list as a .json file safely to your computer. (Recommendation: Save your progress after every study session!)

• Open: Click [Open] to load a previously saved .json file and pick up right where you left off.

• Reset: Click [Reset] to clear the current screen and start a brand-new list.

5. Important Cautions

• Do not edit the code: Please do not open and alter the source code inside the index.html file, as it may break the internal pronunciation logic and translation links. Just open it in your browser and enjoy your study!

• Feel free to share: You are welcome to share this vocabulary builder with your friends and acquaintances. However, modifying the source code for redistribution is strictly prohibited.
